Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 1-3 years of instrumentation/automation experience
• Knowledge of National Electric Codes (NEC)
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints/diagrams
• Knowledge of electronic test instruments and equipment
• Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL may be required
• Safe work practices and strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Installs, inspects, maintains, operates, troubleshoots, repairs, calibrates, and adjusts pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, electronic, and PLC control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers and auxiliary equipment.
• Performs I&M checks on all control systems.
• Maintain electrical switch gear and power distribution.
• Lead changes from analytical testing and implement improvements.
• Oversee third-party construction/maintenance activities.
• Identify, report and correct safety and environmental concerns.
• Complete documentation and record keeping.
• Respond to call-outs and overtime as needed.
