Job summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a Panel Build Technician in Plymouth, MN to assemble, wire, and test industrial electrical control panels and subassemblies. You will interpret schematics, mount components, and ensure quality and safety per specifications.

The role requires 1–3 years in electrical assembly, ability to read wiring diagrams, and adherence to UL508A/NEC standards. It is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities to collaborate with engineers and QA across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of electrical assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels following schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
• Mount, connect, and secure electrical/electronic components (relays, breakers, PLCs, power supplies, VFDs, sensors, terminals).
• Cut, strip, crimp, route, and bundle wires to meet wiring and workmanship standards.
• Conduct continuity, functional, and safety checks on completed assemblies.
• Inspect work for quality and labeling accuracy
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and BOMs; maintain as-built documentation.
• Operate hand tools and power tools (drills, strippers, crimpers, torque tools).
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and QA inspectors to resolve build discrepancies.
• Support material handling, receiving, kitting, and general shop activities when needed.
