Motion Industries is seeking a Service Technician II to repair and service hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems in the service shop. You may guide less experienced technicians and support customers with technical questions and quotes.
Typical requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of shop experience. Strong reading of hydraulic schematics and safe operation of shop equipment are essential.
Under general supervision, the Service Technician II repairs, services, and builds standard and custom systems for hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. The Service Technician II may provide guidance to less experienced Service Technicians.
Typically requires a high school diploma or GED Three (3) to five (5) years of shop experience or an equivalent combination.
Ability to read hydraulic schematics. Strong communication skills required. Basic mechanical knowledge. Ability to operate shop equipment safely. Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Push/pull up to 100 pounds Lift/carry up to 100 pounds Lift bulky objects Neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, reach and lift, ladder climb and carry, crawling. Working conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times. Ability to work overtime and weekends.
$27.06 - $35.22 (hourly) Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Motion, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
