The position's responsibilities include instructing students on principles and applications through classroom lectures and hands-on activities. The ideal candidate should be able to speak confidently in front of a small crowd and have a passion for recruiting into the skilled trades. The instructor is responsible for course development, delivery, assessment, and managing the course of study.
We are looking for someone to start this academic year, beginning at the end of August. The position runs from mid-August to mid-May. An Associate's degree is required, with at least 4 years of experience in electrical construction.
Position Summary:
The instructor manages, maintains, and supervises their course of study, responsible for course development, delivery, and assessment. They report directly to the lead instructor or program director.
Essential Job Functions:
Candidates should possess strong communication skills, teaching ability, industry expertise, managerial skills, knowledge of industry standards, assessment skills, and organizational and word-processing capabilities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Enforce college policies and procedures with all students and within their course of study.
Equipment to be used:
Program-related equipment, computers, and software.
