Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial electrical construction projects across the Rio Grande Valley. The role emphasizes independent field management, coordinating crews, maintaining schedules, and ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Construction Superintendent in commercial electrical construction.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license from any state.
• Experience managing commercial projects valued at $1,000,000 or more.
• Proven ability to coordinate foremen, field crews, materials, installation, and project schedules.
• Experience working directly with general contractors and serving as a primary field contact.
• Strong understanding of the NEC and applicable inspection requirements.
• Basic computer skills including email, Word, and Excel.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to oversee multiple project demands while maintaining accurate reporting and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations across 1–2 commercial electrical construction projects.
• Coordinate foremen, electricians, materials, manpower, schedules, and installation activities.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for general contractors and maintain clear communication throughout each project.
• Maintain detailed daily reports and communicate project scope, progress, potential issues, and upcoming requirements to the office.
• Partner with Project Managers to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
• Conduct jobsite walkthroughs to verify work quality, safety compliance, material availability, and installation progress.
• Coordinate inspections, address field issues, and help resolve problems before they affect project timelines.
• Monitor project phases and proactively communicate changes, delays, and resource needs.
• Provide field guidance and coaching when needed while maintaining oversight of overall project execution.
• Complete required project documentation and updates using company reporting systems.
