Job summary

Helix Electric is seeking a Superintendent to lead the installation of large-scale electrical projects in Salt Lake City. The role focuses on safety, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of labor, materials, and subcontractors.

You will oversee field personnel (15+ electricians), ensure construction plans are followed, and collaborate with support departments to deliver projects on time and within budget.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail under tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety and environmental programs across projects.
• Monitor job costing, quality reporting, forecasting and productivity.
• Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment for sites.
• Complete field administration: timesheets, quantity reports, purchases, job diaries.
• Organize and coordinate all subcontractor activities.
• Implement and monitor construction plans, scheduling, and logistics.
• Supervise and develop field personnel (15+ electricians).
• Participate in field work and use tools when required.
• Collaborate with prefabrication, purchasing, and accounting teams.
