Job summary

Service Electric Company in Florida is seeking a Safety Coordinator to manage on-site safety across projects. You will conduct safety inspections, enforce Safety Manual requirements, and collaborate with supervisors to maintain a safe work environment.

You will develop training programs, support orientation, and assist with incident investigations, reporting to the Safety Manager. Prior electrical construction experience is required; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-5 years of electrical construction/maintenance experience.
• Experience with OSHA rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of health and safety plans.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in routine job site visits
• Conducts safety assessment on crews during routine job site visits
• Monitors safety regulations for updates to manuals and contract specs
• Develops and conducts safety training programs for SEC personnel
• Facilitates new employee orientation training
• Assists investigations and prepares written reports for Safety Manager
• Supports field personnel in safety-related tasks
