Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC is seeking a Construction Safety Intern to gain hands-on experience with safety programs on electrical construction projects. The role involves field support, observations, and learning how safety integrates into daily operations.

You will work with Safety and project teams to promote safe practices, participate in audits, and contribute to training activities. Travel may be required depending on project location.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Occupational Safety & Health, Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in construction safety or the electrical construction industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Safety, project, and field teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn in an active construction/jobsite environment.
• Prior construction or safety experience is a plus.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with promoting safe work practices and working conditions on active project sites.
• Participate in jobsite safety observations, inspections, and compliance audits.
• Support site-specific safety orientations and training activities.
• Learn how project teams identify hazards and develop strategies to help prevent workplace injuries and incidents.
• Assist with safety documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Work alongside project and field teams to understand how safety is incorporated into planning and day-to-day construction activities.
• Gain exposure to applicable company safety programs and regulatory requirements.
• Provide field safety support for projects and activities as directed by the Safety team.
• Assist with additional safety and project activities based on business needs.
