Job summary

The Superior Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager for a Port Washington, Wisconsin jobsite. This full-time role reports to the Senior Project Manager and manages electrical construction projects, budgets, and schedules on site.

Key responsibilities include risk management, scheduling, cost control, and client relations to ensure project success. The role requires strong leadership and effective communication across teams and with customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of project operations/PM experience in commercial construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management or related field; CM certificate; or equivalent field experience on a commercial site.
• Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $5M to $50M.
• Extensive knowledge of construction management software.
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate and manage project risk and elevate concerns with leadership.
• Create and manage the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout.
• Manage all project finance requirements including bills, setup, cost control, and changes.
• Earn client trust through relationship building, swift communication, collaboration, and problem solving.
• Chair project meetings with customers and drive progress.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Provide clear leadership and guidance to all team members.
• Understand and negotiate changes to the full contract scope as needed.
• Review project documents including estimates, drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Ensure timely completion of all closeout procedures.
• Maintain a high degree of safety on the jobsite.
