Job summary

Enterprise Solutions in Orlando, FL is seeking a Project Manager – Electrical Construction to lead complex electrical projects from award through closeout, coordinating with senior leadership and field teams. You will read drawings, specs, submittals, and schedules; manage RFIs, procurement, and budgets; and ensure NEC-compliant installations that meet project requirements and safety standards.

• 5+ years of commercial electrical construction experience.
• Experience managing projects from award through closeout.
• Prior field experience (electrician/foreman/superintendent) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
• OSHA 30 preferred.

• Track multiple workstreams while maintaining project documentation.
• Maintain organized project records and ensure deadlines are met.
• Partner with superintendents to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and develop future leaders.
• Promote a strong safety culture.

Supervises: Assistant Project Managers, coordination with Superintendents

We are looking for a Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and takes ownership of project execution from contract award through closeout.

What You’ll Do

1. Electrical Technical Leadership

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, submittals, and project schedules.
• Identify constructability issues and coordination conflicts early.
• Collaborate with field leadership to ensure electrical systems are installed according to design intent and project requirements.
• Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical installation practices.

2. Project Execution & Organization

• Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement, schedules, and closeout documentation.
• Track multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining clear project documentation.
• Maintain organized project records and ensure deadlines are met across the project lifecycle.
• Partner closely with superintendents to keep projects moving efficiently.

3. Cost Control & Financial Management

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and committed costs.
• Monitor labor productivity and material spend against estimate benchmarks.
• Identify potential cost issues early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and margin protection throughout the project.

4. Change Order & Scope Management

• Identify scope gaps and out-of-scope work.
• Document impacts and prepare change order pricing.
• Maintain proper notice and documentation to protect project entitlement.
• Ensure scope clarity between base contract work and additional work.

5. Field Partnership & Team Leadership

• Work closely with superintendents and foremen to support manpower planning and material coordination.
• Help remove roadblocks for field teams so work can progress safely and efficiently.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and help develop the next generation of project leaders.
• Promote a strong safety culture aligned with company standards.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 5+ years of commercial electrical construction experience
• Experience managing projects from award through closeout
• Prior field experience strongly preferred (electrician, foreman, or superintendent background)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

Certifications

• OSHA 30 preferred

Skills

• Strong understanding of electrical construction practices
• Ability to manage project budgets and cost forecasts
• Excellent communication with both field teams and executive stakeholders
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
