Job summary

MetroPower, Inc. is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support all phases of electrical construction projects under a senior Project Manager.

This role emphasizes hands-on field experience, scalable responsibility in scheduling, estimating, procurement, and customer relations, and growth in safety and operational systems. Reporting under PPC Partners, you will develop project leadership capabilities and collaborate across branches to ensure quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Sciences, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Building Science, etc.), or related
• Prior experience in contracting, engineering, construction management, or related field preferred
• Knowledge and experience with the electrical trade

Responsibilities

• Help establish weekly tasks, timelines, and responsibilities.
• Forecast factors affecting results to maximize efficiency.
• Develop programs, strategies, and supervision for projects.
• Learn scheduling; take responsibility on assigned projects.
• Use estimating data to manage labor and material costs.
• Share manpower, resources, and tools across branches.
• Assist PMs to manage resources, tooling, and permits.
• Learn procurement and order materials for projects.
• Understand billing processes; manage project billings.
• Bid on jobs with estimates, specs, drawings, and takeoffs.
• Manage projects to meet scope, timeline, and budget.
• Ensure productivity and efficiency of materials/equipment.
• Maintain relationships with customers to ensure sales.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Pursue continuous growth and improvement.
• Pre-plan to eliminate hazards; emphasize safety.
• Promote safety communication between field and office.
• Attend safety training as required
