Job summary

SpaceXSI is seeking a Sr. Electrical Construction Project Engineer in Memphis to design, build, and activate advanced electrical infrastructure—from high-voltage substations to low-voltage data-center power systems and BESS.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and drive projects from cradle to grave in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate with contractors, utilities, and internal stakeholders to ensure reliable, scalable power for AI-scale compute facilities in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in electrical construction, power systems engineering, substations, data-center electrical infrastructure, BESS, or facilities electrical management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and own the full lifecycle of electrical construction projects with on-time and under-budget delivery.
• Manage all aspects of multi-discipline electrical construction projects in the field and office; act as overall construction project manager.
• Perform project control tasks including scheduling, cost control, and commissioning coordination.
• Interact with electrical contractors, fabricators, OEMs, utilities, and internal customers.
• Coordinate project implementation, equipment delivery, installation, testing, and energization.
