Job summary

Brink Constructors, Inc. is seeking an Intern Estimator to assist with preparing cost estimates for projects to aid management in bidding on or determining the price of products or services.

The position is based at our Rapid City, SD location. You will contact suppliers for pricing, familiarize yourself with bid documents, and support the estimating team by collecting historical cost data and analyzing blueprints to estimate time, cost, materials, and labor requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid, Active Driver's License.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel) are required.

Responsibilities

• Contact suppliers for pricing.
• Familiarize with bid documents.
• Inform others within the department of project status and current assignments.
• Assist other members of the estimating team.
• Collect historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future products.
• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
