Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of field experience in electrical construction, industrial and commercial.
• Pricing and budgeting electrical construction projects ranging from $500K to $30M or more.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to travel periodically.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Accubid Anywhere and LiveCount Cloud software.
• Strong computer skills with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
• Ability to use internet and web-based resources efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Researching the cost of items such as materials, transport, labor, and equipment.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors.
• Getting quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified time frame.
• Assessing the risk levels associated with a project.
• Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done.
• Assisting with bids for new contracts and supporting the activities of buyers.
• Monitoring the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs.
• Travel to assigned projects as needed to gain a better understanding of the work.
