IAPMO is seeking an Electrical Associate Director of Construction in Phoenix, AZ, to provide senior leadership for major electrical construction activities supporting high-value facilities, including semiconductor manufacturing. The ideal candidate will lead PMs and field teams, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and manage complex projects for industrial and data center environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive electrical construction experience.
• Experience leading large electrical construction projects and teams.
• Strong background with an electrical contractor.
• Experience with industrial, semiconductor, data center, or mission-critical facilities preferred.
• Ability to lead PMs, superintendents, and large field teams.
• Deep knowledge of electrical systems and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership and oversight for electrical construction operations across major projects.
• Mentor electrical project management, field supervision, and construction teams.
• Oversee execution from preconstruction through completion with schedules, budgets and quality.
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and leadership.
• Review schedules, manpower, procurement, and cost projections.
• Establish and execute construction strategies for complex electrical systems.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, and manage resources.
• Ensure installations comply with drawings, codes, safety, and quality standards.
• Drive accountability and maintain client relationships.
