Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. is seeking an Associate Construction Project Manager to assist with planning, organizing, and supporting field-based construction projects in heavy industrial electrical and inside wiring.

Under direct supervision, you will collaborate with Project Managers, coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, track budgets and schedules, and help prepare proposals and reports. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience and opportunities to progress within a nationwide project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 0–3 years of relevant experience (construction, industrial, or electrical preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager(s) in managing projects under direct supervision.
• Support development and tracking of project performance metrics, budgets, and cost controls.
• Assist with cost tracking, labor tracking, scheduling, and reporting.
• Coordinate with field supervision, subcontractors, engineers, vendors, and clients.
• Assist with material procurement, submittals, and equipment tracking.
• Assist with subcontractor coordination and contract compliance.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including billing, cost reporting, and scheduling records.
• Support federal/state reporting and project correspondence as required.
• Participate in construction meetings and contribute to project coordination.
• Assist with proposals, estimates, and quantity take-offs.
• Provide onsite administrative and project support for long-term assignments.
• Assist with change management, productivity tracking, and project closeout activities.
