Job summary

Superior in Port Washington, Wisconsin, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to help drive electrical construction projects forward. You will support on-site operations, assist with contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration, and work closely with the Project Manager.

This role is based on a jobsite in Port Washington and requires 1 year of field or project experience or a related degree; OSHA certification is a bonus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of field or project experience on a commercial construction site.
• Degree or certificate in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or related field.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the creation and submission of RFI’s and ensure that all RFI’s are integrated into project documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on the lifecycle of the project submittal process.
• Support with the creation, submission, and management of change orders.
• Capture the progress of our work by updating contract documents and photographing the jobsite.
• Monitor the project schedule and provide ongoing updates to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership.
• Work closely with the Foreman on delivery of materials and equipment to the jobsite.
• Lead project close-out, including documentation, warranties, waivers, as-builds, and attic stock.
• Develop an understanding of project finance, working closely with Project Operations and Finance leadership.
