Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) seeks aspiring Electrical Engineers for an internship/co-op in Tucson, AZ. You'll support component engineering by selecting and specifying electrical components, interfacing with internal teams and suppliers to build verification data packages.

Responsibilities include identifying parts for the preferred list, mitigating obsolescence, and supporting the full circuit card lifecycle from development to production, with opportunities to present at design reviews.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience in circuit design, circuit analysis, digital/analog electronics, power, RF, or PCB design.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Assist component engineering by selecting and specifying electrical components.
• Develop risk and verification data for component selections.
• Identify parts for the preferred parts list and mitigate obsolescence.
• Support the full circuit card lifecycle from development through production and present findings at design reviews.
