Job summary

UNAVAILABLE is seeking an entry-level Electrical Commissioning Technician 2 to assist in testing, maintenance, and installation of electrical equipment at field sites. You will work under close supervision while gaining foundational skills for progression.

You will support installation, testing, and documentation tasks, maintain inspection records, and adhere to safety procedures including LOTO. A background check, drug test, and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma with 3+ years of experience or equivalent training.
• Must pass a background check and drug test; valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights; basic math and safety protocol knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing and maintenance of site/field equipment.
• Support installation, rearrangement, and removal of equipment and wiring.
• Perform basic testing, moving, and adjustments of equipment.
• Assist in field construction inspection to ensure compliance with NETA specifications and plans.
• Maintain records and report inspection activities.
• Apply safety procedures (LOTO) and use PPE as directed.
• Prep equipment for testing as directed by the commissioning lead.
