Job summary

The Haskell Company seeks a Commissioning Engineer to verify MEP systems meet project specs and industry standards. You will review drawings, coordinate with project teams, and mentor junior staff to uphold quality, safety, and on-time startup for mission-critical facilities.

Expect up to 80% travel and a bachelor's degree in engineering with 3–5 years' commissioning experience. Strong knowledge of NETA standards, electrical troubleshooting, and leadership are highly valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in any engineering field and 3–5 years of commissioning experience.
Strong knowledge of commissioning processes for MEP systems.
Experience with NETA testing standards and safety compliance.
Ability to mentor and lead staff on site.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Review drawings and specifications to validate readiness for commissioning testing.
Assist schedule development with project managers and subcontractors.
Review NETA testing documents to ensure safety and compliance.
Plan energization and startup activities; track issues to closure.
Lead commissioning meetings and coordinate with field teams.
Mentor Cx Technicians and serve as main client liaison on site.
Ensure deliverables and inspection checklists meet design requirements.
Escalate deficiencies affecting project deliverables.
Travel up to 80%.
