Job summary

Nox Group is seeking a seasoned Electrical Commissioning Superintendent to lead electrical commissioning on complex construction projects. You will manage first-time energization, functional testing, schedule management, and liaison with owners and CxA.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of electrical construction experience, NEC knowledge, LOTO and NFPA 70E training, plus strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8–10 years of electrical construction experience.
• Experience with energization and switching of electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Experience with Lock-Out/Tag Out (LOTO).
• Familiarity with one-line diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to review equipment submittals.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead field execution of commissioning activities.
• Develop electrical commissioning and testing procedures.
• Validate installation and pre-functional checklists for gear.
• Schedule, lead, and troubleshoot functional performance testing.
• Ensure test equipment is available and calibrated.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for commissioning.
• Interface with CxA and Owner’s reps during witness testing.
• Direct Cx techs and trades in field execution.
• Report progress to the Commissioning Manager.
