Job summary

Nox Group is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Director to lead the company’s electrical commissioning program across projects nationwide. You will shape standards, oversee Electrical Cx Managers, and ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE and NETA.

This role requires 5+ years directing commissioning and 10+ years electrical construction, strong client-facing communication, and the ability to mentor leaders while driving safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of electrical commissioning experience and 10+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Experience leading large teams across multiple projects.
• Strong client-facing and executive communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of commissioning standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE, NETA, etc.).
• Proven ability to implement scalable processes and mentor future leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for the company’s electrical commissioning program.
• Establish standardized commissioning procedures, protocols and best practices to drive consistency across all projects.
• Align commissioning practices with Safety, Quality and Operations programs.
• Manage, mentor and develop Electrical Cx Managers.
• Develop and manage department staffing plan and resource allocation.
• Foster a culture of safety, innovation and continuous improvement within the commissioning department.
• Represent the commissioning team in executive-level meetings with clients and contractors.
• Assist in project pursuits/interviews.
