Job summary

Pacifico Energy is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer for the Cedar Creek project in Texas to lead the owner's witness and technical judgment on electrical systems including generators, switchgear, transformers, and protection.

The role requires 10+ years of commissioning experience on power plants, hands-on experience with generator and protection system commissioning, and knowledge of NFPA 70E and safe switching practices.

Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project entering startup. As Electrical Commissioning Engineer you are the owner's witness and technical judgement on the electrical systems: generators, switchgear, transformers, protection and the electrical balance of plant.

What You Bring To The Role

• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Procore and AI tools used with human verification.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent years of field experience.

Nice To Have

• Owner-side commissioning experience.
• OSHA 30 — provided by the project after mobilization if you do not already hold it.
