Job summary

Corbins, a Nox Group enterprise, seeks an Electrical Commissioning Director to lead the electrical commissioning program across projects. You will shape standards, mentor managers, and drive safe, high-quality execution while interfacing with clients and executives.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical commissioning and 10+ years in electrical construction, with strong leadership and client-facing communication abilities. Travel to job sites will be necessary as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of electrical commissioning experience and 10+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Track record of leading large teams across multiple simultaneous projects.
• Strong client-facing and executive communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of commissioning standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE, NETA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for the company’s electrical commissioning program.
• Establish standardized commissioning procedures, protocols and best practices to drive consistency across all projects.
• Align commissioning practices with Safety, Quality and Operations programs.
• Manage, mentor and develop Electrical Cx Managers.
• Develop and manage department staffing plan and resource allocation.
• Foster a culture of safety, innovation and continuous improvement within the commissioning department.
• Represent the commissioning team in executive-level meetings with clients and contractors.
• Assist in project pursuits/interviews.
