Job summary

Munters Corporation is seeking a Working Cell Leader who will wire units, assemble electrical panels, and direct production in designated areas. You will also lead morning meetings, track progress on Tier Boards, and ensure timely completion of work orders while maintaining a safe work environment.

The role requires hands-on wiring, BOM interpretation, and supervision of flow lanes and subassemblies. Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet schedules.

Qualifications

  • Lead daily Tier Meetings and update production boards.
  • Enforce safety practices and PPE usage.

Job description

Compensation Range:$ 23.11 plus $ 1.00Scope:Working cell leader who, in addition to helping wire equipment or build electrical panels, is also responsible for assisting supervisor with daily work assignments and directing employees who report to production supervisor in specific work areas (i.e. flow lanes, sub-assembly areas). Additional work area assignments may apply.Assembly Essential Duties:Work from bill of material (BOM), assembly drawings, prints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to wire units, build electrical panels, and assemble sheet metal parts and components using various hand and power tools as needed.Lead morning Tier Meetings with their direct reports in assigned areas of responsibility.Update Production Tier Boards and provide updates to the team members at our daily 9:10 AM Tier Meetings.Receive and sign for purchase components and materials needed to build specific work orders in specific production areas.Ensure scheduled orders are built per the production schedule to meet scheduled ship dates.Direct and assist flow lane and subassembly employees with daily work assignments.Ensure daily labor is entered and in-process check sheets are completed as required.Responsible for safety awareness and enforcement of safety practices (including the use of PPE).Assist supervisor with skills and knowledge development of existing and new employees.Complete quality assurance inspection and in-process paperwork.Maintain safe, and organized work area. Notify supervisor or other appropriate resource when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, inventory, or documentation.Other Duties:Perform or assist with any operations throughout the factory, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Consistently operate in keeping with all safety rules and requirements.Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to assist with training new employees, integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.Perform other related duties as assigned.Tools and Equipment:Use hand and hand power tools, assembly fixtures, crane devices such as vacuum lifters, cranes and forklifts.Minimum Personal Protection Equipment (PPE):Safety Glasses – ANSI Z87.1Ear Protection – ANSI S3.19Knee PadsGloves – ANSI Cut 3 4544Foot Protection, Steel Toe – ASTM F2413-11Physical Demand:Occasionally move up to 75 lbs.Frequently stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, maneuver, stoop, squat, grasp, and reach.Visual and aural acuityListeningHours of Work Required:Standard work schedules plus overtime and weekend hours will be required to meet production demands.Munters Corporation is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer M/F/D/V
