Job summary

Micro Precision Calibration is seeking a Calibration Technician to calibrate test instruments across electrical, industrial and temperature equipment. You will collect data, complete certifications, and maintain company standards under the Lab Manager's guidance.

About 25% travel to customer sites is expected. Candidates should have a valid driver’s license, basic measurement knowledge, and strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and dimensional equipment preferred.
• Experience with basic instrumentation and manual tools preferred.
• Strong math fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate a variety of test instruments across multiple skill areas (Electrical, Industrial, Temperature).
• Collect calibration data and complete certifications, including out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Perform standards maintenance and check company standards as assigned by Lab Manager.
• Communicate calibration issues and procedures clearly with customers and coworkers by phone, in person, and email.
