Qualifications

• Interpret 2D plans, diagrams and blueprints electronically or in hard copy.
• Understand 3-D coordination with other trades.
• Turn verbal and written direction into working design documents.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Translate design requirements into usable 2D plans and 3D models for coordination, installation, and fabrication.
• Retrieve vendor quotes, analyze for accuracy and provide recommendations to BIM Techs.
• Adhere to standard design practices and processes.
• Assist BIM Techs with itemized tasks with high attention to detail.
• Meet scheduled deliverables provided by BIM Techs.
• Revise drawings and designs based on markups from BIM Techs.
• Print documents, plans, and labels for transmittal to third parties.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to build knowledge and implement updated practices.
• Check work for accuracy before next-level review.
