Job summary

Inceed is seeking an Electrical CAD Technician in Akron, Ohio to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will prepare and revise engineering drawings for projects involving substation modifications and equipment replacements. Your contribution will be vital to the development of key infrastructure in remote communities.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree or CAD certification, over 2 years of relevant experience, and is proficient in AutoCAD. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and includes a competitive compensation package.

• 2+ years of relevant drafting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise engineering drawings of basic components.
• Adhere to company and client drafting standards.
• Follow ANSI standard drafting practices.
• Draft, design, and document various projects.
• Utilize various drafting and design software.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.

Skills

Proficient in AutoCAD

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Compensation: $25 - $28 /hour, depending on experience

Required Qualifications & Experience:
