Job summary

Clarke in Milwaukee, WI seeks an Electrical CAD Designer to create drawings and simulations for diverse power-plant projects, including lighting, power, and system coordination across various plant technologies. You will join a team of engineers delivering electrical design work that supports critical infrastructure.

The role emphasizes leading complex projects, coordinating with engineers and contractors, and delivering accurate 2D/3D drawings with AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in drafting technology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the design of electrical one-line diagrams, circuit diagrams, cable routing and knowledge of the NEC.
• Substation physical layout and electrical clearances.
• Ability to work in a team environment, and to coordinate the work of various engineering disciplines and contractors to complete an integrated project.
• Must have mastered detailing skills and have demonstrated basic knowledge in design, calculations, and design systems.

• Lead and execute complex electrical design projects.
