Job summary

PROENERGY in Sedalia, MO, seeks an Electrical CAD Designer to create, revise, and manage electrical drawings for industrial power generation equipment. You will work closely with Electrical Engineers and cross-functional teams to translate concepts into manufacturable designs while complying with standards and customer requirements.

The role reports to the Manager, Design & Drafting and is based at 2001 Proenergy Blvd, Sedalia, MO 65301. A pre-employment screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of electrical CAD design and drafting experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and electrical drafting software.
• Strong ability to read and create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, interconnect drawings, and bills of material.
• Develop accurate electrical design documentation using CAD software.
• Support engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are complete, accurate, and manufacturable.
• Review drawings for quality, consistency, and compliance with customer specs and standards.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineers to improve design processes and drawing quality.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies and design conflicts with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Process ECRs/ECRNs and support NCR resolutions.
• Participate in project kickoffs and design reviews; contribute to continuous improvement.
• Maintain drawing databases and revision control in PDM/PLM systems.
• Track tasks to support project schedules and deadlines.
