The candidate will use CAD to prepare electrical and electronic layouts, ensure accuracy, and understand ANSI standards, motor systems, and power supplies.

Qualifications

• Open to entry-level candidates or those with 5 years of industry experience.
• Candidates should have coursework or internship in hardware systems.
• Experience with power supplies, AC motors, motor drivers, and motor control systems.
• Experienced candidates should have hands-on experience in downhole electronics applications.
• PWA troubleshooting and circuit diagnostics are preferred.
• Knowledge of ANSI drafting methods and tolerances.

Job Title - Electrical CAD Designer/ Electrical Engineer

Job Location - Hybrid-Sugar Land, TX 77478

Job Duration - 06 Months Contract

The Electrical CAD Designer is responsible for preparing and maintaining engineering or sustaining project design layouts, production drawings and other related documentation per ANSI standards, considering methods of manufacture and tolerance and their effect on related parts or assemblies.

• Function as a design engineer for routine/correction.
• Depending on seniority, use the CAD system to prepare and maintain simple to average complexity electrical and electronic layouts, average complexity mechanical and highest complexity electrical and electronic product and production drawings and other related documentation from layouts, sketches or verbal instruction.
• Be responsible for the accuracy of assignments, except for design features that are the responsibility of the project engineer.
• Understand ANSI drafting methods, standards and procedures.
• Understand manufacturing processes and techniques, and interpretation of ANSI standards and procedures.
• Possesses basic knowledge of the mechanical and, depending on the seniority, partial to total knowledge of the electrical and electronic Product Line.
• Maintain status reports on all projects assigned

Education & Experience

• Open to entry level candidates as well as candidates with industry experience (5 years).
• entry level candidates should have academic projects, coursework, or internship experience related to:
• Hardware systems
• Power supplies
• AC motors
• Motor drivers
• Motor control systems
• Experienced candidates should ideally have hands-on experience in:
• Downhole electronics applications
• Printed Wiring Assembly (PWA) troubleshooting
• Circuit diagnostics and troubleshooting

Work Schedule

• Hybrid "Blue Flex" schedule - 8 am to 5 pm
• Monday and Friday are optional work-from-home days when hands-on lab support is not required.
• On-site Tuesday through Thursday.
• Employees may be required to come on-site on remote days when testing, lab work, or other hands-on activities are needed.
