Salary Range / Rate: $35/hr to $37/hr W2 (USD)

Hiring an Electrical CAD Designer with experience in power and controls design, specifically within the utility industry – focused on natural gas pipelines, compressor stations, and process equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and update detailed electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and control panel layouts
Participate in onsite facility evaluations and work closely with engineers and field teams
Perform electrical load calculations, conduit sizing, and material selection
Incorporate markups and revisions from engineering teams
Ensure designs meet internal standards, codes, and safety requirements
Assist engineers in troubleshooting and improving design solutions

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Design/CAD Technology
Electrical CAD experience in the utility industry
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel
Experience with Adobe/BlueBeam preferred
ADDA certification is a plus
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
