Job summary

Salas O’Brien’s Irvine, CA office is seeking an Electrical CAD/BIM Designer to develop design and construction documents for electrical power systems on buildings under the supervision of Senior Engineers.

Ideal candidates have an Associate or technical BIM/drafting degree, 3–5 years of electrical drafting experience, knowledge of NEC, power distribution, strong Revit skills, and proficiency with SKM/EasyPower and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical BIM/drafting degree required.
• 3–5 years of electrical power design drafting/modeling experience preferred.
• Strong Revit skills and familiarity with NEC and power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical system drawings/models for projects under Senior Engineers.
• Coordinate drawings/models with HVAC, controls, fire protection, structural, and architectural scopes.
