Job summary

Swanson Rink is seeking an Electrical CA Specialist to join our design team on complex data center and building projects in the United States. You will support project managers and senior engineers, coordinating construction administration activities and ensuring design integrity in the field.

You will work with a seasoned team on fast‑paced projects, with opportunities for growth and professional development, competitive compensation, and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or licensed Master‑Level Electrician/Electrical Contractor.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project and construction management on green‑field multi‑building construction sites.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40–50% and ability to pass background checks/security screenings.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Track and close out construction‑related submittals and RFIs with Project Managers and discipline leads.
• Liaise between contractor and design team during construction administration to address design/field questions before items are memorialized in an RFI.
• Coordinate site visits based on on‑site progress and issue reports identifying progress, schedule compliance, and deviations.
• Peer‑review design documents, schematics, and specification sheets as part of quality control for upcoming projects.
• Mentor junior staff in construction administration best practices and foster strong team relationships.
• Stay updated on NEC, IEEE, NECA, OSHA standards and active project safety requirements.
