Job summary

Swanson Rink is seeking an Electrical CA Specialist to join our electrical design team on complex projects. You will work with Project Managers, Project Engineers and Senior Engineers to ensure construction aligns with the design, on fast-paced multi-building sites.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or licensed master electrician, 6+ years in project/construction management, and the ability to travel 40–50% to various sites. Experience with hyperscale data centers is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or licensed Master Electrician/Electrical Contractor.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project and construction management on green field multi-building sites.
• Willingness and ability to physically access large active project sites.
• Experience with hyperscale data center construction is a plus.
• Ability to travel approximately 40–50%.

Responsibilities

• Track and closeout construction submittals and RFIs with Project Managers and discipline leads.
• Serve as liaison between contractor and design team during construction administration.
• Coordinate site visits and report on project progress and deviations.
• Peer review design documents and specifications as part of QA/QC.
• Mentor junior staff in Construction Administration best practices.
• Stay current on NEC, IEEE, NECA, OSHA standards and project safety requirements.
