Job summary

Group CBS is seeking an experienced technician to repair, upgrade, recondition, and re-manufacture electrical equipment from a single circuit breaker to a complete substation. Candidates must be willing to work overtime as necessary and travel to job sites for onsite and emergency services.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems, reading schematics and manuals, and maintaining safety when working with stored energy systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Must have own tools and read OEM manuals.
• Detail oriented and a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Repair, upgrade, recondition, and re-manufacture electrical equipment from breakers to substations.
• Read work orders and perform customer-requested services.
• Troubleshoot and repair circuit breakers and electrical circuits.
• Operate test equipment and read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Support onsite and emergency jobs as needed.
