Job summary

McGraw Kokosing is seeking a BIM / VDC Specialist focused on electrical systems for industrial projects in Middletown, OH. You will create, manage, and coordinate BIM models, ensuring alignment with drawings and contract documents to support planning, coordination, and execution.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in BIM, familiarity with electrical trades, and experience with off-site manufacturing. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with BIM platforms.
• Experience with electrical trades.
• Experience with Off Site manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complete and accurate BIM models based on drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Prepare detailed installation drawings and bill of materials from the BIM models using approved drafting standards.
• Review, manage, and manipulate electronic design files.
• Update models and drawings to reflect as-built conditions.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical disciplines to integrate project features into unified BIM models.
• Interface with project team members to understand and implement project requirements.
• Support ongoing project coordination and constructability efforts through effective modeling practices.
• Coordinate and possibly manage other BIM and VDC teams working on the project.
