Job summary

SpaceX, based in Starbase, TX, is seeking a BIM Specialist (Electrical Systems Modeling) to lead the modeling, integration, and coordination of electrical systems for Starship tooling and facilities infrastructure. You will own electrical schematics, collaborate across disciplines, and drive BIM practices throughout the project lifecycle.

1+ years of experience in a 3D drafting or BIM specialist/modeling role.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and upgrade detailed 3D BIM models of electrical systems using industry-standard software.
Own, draft, redline, and maintain electrical schematics and related documentation while coordinating 3D model placement.
Integrate electrical systems with other disciplines for Starship facilities and production tooling, ensuring safe, economical, and reliable designs.
Generate construction documents, quantity takeoffs, and as-built drawings from BIM models to support bidding and on-site execution.
Perform clash detection, model coordination, and constructability reviews focused on electrical systems.
