Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Electrical Construction Project Engineer for Starbase, TX. You will design, build, and activate electrical infrastructure from substations to BESS, leading multi-discipline projects with autonomy and a strong focus on safety and schedule.

You’ll work with engineers, contractors, utilities, and internal customers to deliver reliable, high-capacity power for Starship production, test, and launch operations, while serving as a project manager and site supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years in electrical construction or power systems engineering.
• Experience with HV, MV, BESS, and industrial power infra; PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of electrical construction projects (HV substations, BESS, power distribution) with on-time, under-budget delivery.
• Act as overall construction project manager and owner across field and office.
• Coordinate with contractors, utilities, OEMs, and internal teams to energize and turnover systems.
