Job summary

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a BIM Detailer – Electrical to join our team in Miami, FL. Develop precise electrical and low-voltage drawings to support BIM designers, project teams, and field installation.

You will create detailed 2D drawings using Bluebeam, ensure compliance with NEC and project standards, and collaborate with engineers and other discipline designers to resolve conflicts and support constructability in the field.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of electrical background through apprenticeship or work experience as an inside apprentice or wireman.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, low-voltage systems, construction drawings, and field installation requirements.
• Experience using Bluebeam or similar software to create accurate 2D drawings.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply project specifications, electrical drawings, and code requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform drawing reviews and quality control checks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with BIM designers, engineers, project teams, and other discipline designers.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to support multiple project priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate, buildable electrical and low-voltage drawings that support BIM designers and field installation.
• Create detailed 2D drawings, including equipment, cable trays, conduits, receptacles, lighting, homerun boxes, circuiting, and switches.
• Provide clear, buildable drawings for BIM designers and project teams.
• Work closely with electrical BIM designers, engineers, and other discipline designers to integrate designs and avoid conflicts.
• Review project specifications, established electrical standards, and applicable codes, including NEC.
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure drawings are accurate and compliant with project requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams to verify design intent and support constructability in the field.
