InPwr Inc in Indianapolis seeks a CAD/BIM designer with 2+ years’ experience in electrical design. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to prepare permit and construction drawings using AutoCAD and BIM tools.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work both in a team and independently. Familiarity with BIM software like Revit and Navisworks is needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have 2+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and interested in electrical design field.
• Experience with BIM tools and NEC awareness.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients, vendors, contractors, architects, and other engineers to design for permit and construction drawings.
• Create and manage project/design folders.
• Develop accurate designs complying with contract scope and standards.
• Review supplier drawings to meet NEC clearance requirements.
• Develop installation details with engineers and field installation experts.
• Prepare as-built drawings from field redlines with approvals.
• Assist BIM implementation and coordination.
• Maintain plotting processes.
