Nestlé in Little Chute, WI is seeking an Electrical & Automation Technician to provide daily electrical support for half the plant and assist with capital and extraordinary maintenance projects. The role requires PLC experience across Pico, Micro, CompactLogix, SLC500, ControlLogix, Guardlogix and PLC-5, plus servo systems expertise.

You will have strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP, SharePoint) and be able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining logs and analyzing

Qualifications

• Associate degree in an industrial electrical field or equivalent preferred.
• Electrical skills knowledge and PLC experience across multiple platforms.
• Servo systems experience desirable and drive knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and data-driven problem solving.
• Proficient computer skills including SAP, Office apps and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily electrical support for half the plant and participate in maintenance projects.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist with capital and extraordinary projects.
• Log data from maintenance systems, track equipment reliability, and manage time.

Overview

Join our Electrical & Automation Team in Little Chute. The role supports electrical work for a large portion of the plant, with duties including preventative maintenance and electrical support for capital and extraordinary maintenance projects. Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, time management, and self-direction are important to complete in-plant electrical projects with minimal assistance. Use of equipment logs and reports, and data from computerized maintenance systems to track equipment reliability and manage time is required.

Position Summary

The Electrical and Automation Technician is responsible for daily electrical support for half of the plant daily (East/West) and at times the whole plant. Additional duties include preventative maintenance and electrical support for capital and extraordinary maintenance projects. Candidates will be chosen based on electrical competence and experience.

What Will Make You Successful

To be successful in this role, individuals will need:

• Associate Degree in an Industrial Electrical technical field or Electrical Industrial or E&I Journeyman is preferred.
• Electrical skills knowledge.
• PLC experience: Pico, Micro, CompactLogix, SLC500, ControlLogix, Guardlogix and PLC-5.
• Servo systems experience: Ultra, Kinetix (plus).
• Drives: 160, 1305, 1336, Powerflex Drives.
• Ability to trouble shoot circuits.
• Strong computer skills including familiarity with: Electrical Software, Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP, iPad, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Experience with electrical testing devices to connect, setup, and perform testing to troubleshoot plant issues.

• Multimeters: AC/DC voltage and amperage, milliamp, millivolt, ohms, frequency and min/max readings.
• IR Camera: Take images and review with Fluke software.
• Calibration equipment: Calibration tester, dry blocks, etc.
• Oscilloscope: AC/DC voltage and amperage, milliamp, millivolt, ohms, frequency and min/max readings (not required but a plus).
• Power Logger: AC connections (not required but a plus).

Be able to troubleshoot circuits.

Note: This role requires strong time management skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
