Job summary
Lincoln Electric is seeking a seasoned engineer to manage engineering processes required to design, build, ship, and service Lincoln Electric Automation equipment.
You will lead cross‑functional teams in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic design, execute PLC/HMI/robot programming, and drive project timelines, budgets, and ISO documentation while supporting field installations and commissioning.
Qualifications
- Technical degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 8–10 years of proven design experience in Industrial Automation.
- Experience with PLC/HMI/robot programming and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist in establishing project timelines and manpower needs.
- Coordinate and lead engineering design across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic disciplines.
- Lead teams in creating and debugging PLC, Safety PLC, HMI, servo motion and robot programs.
- Assist in complex system start-up, debugging and equipment maturation.
- Lead project teams to meet timelines and budgets.
- Assist purchasing with costs and supplier selection.
- Assist onsite installation, startup, commissioning and customer handover.
- Coordinate preparation of operator and maintenance manuals.
- Assist in developing and maintaining engineering and product standards.
- Ensure project ISO documentation is completed.
- Assist in team mentoring and performance evaluations; travel as needed.
