Job summary

Adecco is partnering with a leading manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Electrical & Automation Engineer to support reliability, efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement of its manufacturing operations.

This hands-on role focuses on electrical systems, industrial automation, controls, and project work across the facility, collaborating with Maintenance, Engineering, Production, Quality, and external partners to optimize performance and ensure a safe environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Hands-on PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or comparable PLC platforms.
Experience with HMIs, SCADA, VFDs, instrumentation, sensors, and industrial control systems.
Strong understanding of industrial electrical safety and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve electrical systems, motors, drives, control panels, instrumentation, and industrial equipment.
Diagnose electrical and controls-related equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.
Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, VFDs, sensors, and other automation equipment.
Support electrical and controls systems throughout the manufacturing facility.
Maintain accurate electrical drawings, schematics, equipment documentation, and technical records.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, safety, and overall performance.
Lead or support electrical and automation projects, equipment upgrades, and production line improvements.
