Kelso Industries is seeking an Electrical AutoCAD Drafter to produce and maintain accurate electrical drawings supporting PLC control panel design, fabrication, and field installation. You will handle red-line revisions and create drawing packages including schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and BOMs in collaboration with engineers and shop staff.
The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD (Electrical preferred), strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple drawing

The Electrical AutoCAD Drafter produces and maintains accurate electrical drawings in support of PLC control panel design, fabrication, and field installation. The primary responsibility of this position is completing electrical red-line revisions (as-builts) and creating and updating PLC control panel drawing packages, including schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and bills of material. The Drafter works closely with controls engineers, panel shop technicians, and project managers to ensure drawings accurately reflect the components, wiring, labeling, and UL requirements of each control panel we build.
This position is expected to grow with experience. As the Drafter becomes proficient with our standard components, drawing packages, and UL requirements, responsibilities may expand into panel design support, BOM/quoting assistance, and checking drawings produced by others.
