Job summary

Power Design Inc. is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to work with senior managers, oversee all business aspects of a project, and support labor and budget management from our St. Petersburg HQ.

You will be paired with an experienced mentor, have an accelerated path to electrical project manager and onto senior management roles, and be expected to demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• College graduate with a construction-related degree and 3-5 years of relevant work experience or an individual with 5+ years of relevant construction experience.
• Detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the business side of a large-scale construction project under supervision.
• Collaborate with senior team members, suppliers and contractors to coordinate schedules, inventory and project correspondence.
• Regularly visit assigned projects, interact with customers and other trades while representing the organization in the field.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, engineers, inspectors and vendors.
• Receive hands-on training from a mentor and utilize cutting-edge technology in the office and field.
