Job summary

Faith Technologies in Menasha, WI seeks a Commissioning Assistant Project Manager to support electrical and specialty systems commissioning and startup schedules.

Under the Project/Program Manager, you will coordinate vendors, review progress, assist field teams, and help ensure safe, timely project completion. Must be proficient in MS Office.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering and 1–2 years of PM/Commissioning experience; travel up to 100%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of PM/Construction/Commissioning experience with startup/commissioning exposure.
• Experience in Mission Critical, Industrial or Commercial settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors to obtain materials for construction projects.
• Conduct performance reviews and assist in wage adjustments with PM.
• Plan, organize, and staff electrical and/or specialty systems projects; ensure profitable, timely completion.
• Attend weekly and monthly meetings and review estimates with Estimating Department.
• Visit job sites to monitor progress and support safe practices.
• Perform other related duties as required.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledge of the electrical construction trade is preferred.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Electrical Engineering Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of Project Management, Construction Management, Project Engineering, or Commissioning Management experience with experience of commissioning/start-up experience for electrical and/or mechanical systems . Relevant industry experience can vary from Mission Critical, Industrial, and Commercial

Travel: 75-100%

Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contacts vendors to obtain materials for construction projects.
• Participates in bi-annual performance evaluation process; conducts employee performance reviews in an effective and timely manner; and consults with Group or Project Manager to establish field merit wage increases.
• Maintains employee relations.
• Plans, organizes, and staffs electrical and/or specialty systems construction projects. Ensures that projects are completed profitably, in a timely manner , and according to customer expectations.
• Attends weekly and monthly meetings (i.e., Staffing Meeting, PM Meeting, Sales Meeting, etc.).
• Processes miscellaneous paperwork.
• Reviews outgoing estimates with Estimating Department to ensure accuracy.
• Visits various job sites and interacts with crew, customers, foreman , and general contractors to ensure proper job progress and to support and encourage safe behavior.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
