Electrical Assistant Project Manager (AEPM)

Join to apply for the Electrical Assistant Project Manager (AEPM) role at RQ Construction, LLC.

Since 1996, RQC, LLC has been a leading player in Southern California's robust commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We now have a national presence with projects spanning coast to coast. We are a full-service Design-Build company specializing in managing projects throughout the United States, with field operations teams on location for each project. Our focus is on fast-track commercial construction projects for public and private clients, primarily in the Department of Defense (DoD) market.

We are looking for an Assistant Electrical Project Manager (AEPM) to join our Field Operations team in Kings Bay, Georgia. Our AEPMs assist the Electrical Project Managers in leading all electrical aspects of projects from conceptual design to final completion, supporting RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. They may support multiple electrical projects simultaneously. Priority will be given to local candidates.

Pay Rate: $80-100K DOE

Minimum Requirements:

1. A BA/BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience and training.
2. Four or more years of project management experience on projects of at least $500,000 in electrical scope.
3. Three or more years' experience with DoD project work structure, with fluent understanding.
4. Five or more years or equivalent experience as a Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager in electrical construction; experience in the design-build industry is a plus.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet.
6. Preferred: Software literacy in McCormick, Primavera 3/6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit.
7. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour (training available); STS certification preferred.
8. LEED GA or AP/AP+ credentials preferred.
