Job summary

Wollborg Michelson Recruiting seeks an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to support planning and execution of commercial electrical construction projects. You will coordinate documentation, budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and field activities while maintaining scope, quality, and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, preparing RFIs, assisting with estimates and bids, tracking costs, and managing change orders.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and process-focused approach to project management.
• Strong ability to organize documentation and coordinate multiple project activities.
• Knowledge of commercial electrical construction processes and workflows.
• Effective communication with technical, field, and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specs, and bid documents during preconstruction.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and job walks.
• Prepare, review, and track RFIs.
• Assist with estimates, budgets, scope letters, and bid packages.
• Support project setup, cost tracking, and job administration.
• Coordinate scopes of work with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitor progress, schedule updates, and milestone completion.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Maintain project logs, workflows, and tracking systems.
• Process and track change orders, including pricing and client communication.
• Manage project documents, including drawings, submittals, specifications, and revisions.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and support field coordination.
• Assist with field issues and coordination challenges.
• Maintain clear communication among field teams, clients, and internal stakeholders.
