Job summary

The Romanoff Group of Companies, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, seeks an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to join our award-winning team. You will provide project, supervisory, and coordination support for ongoing electrical construction projects in the region.

Responsibilities include documenting changes, attending meetings, coordinating with trades and suppliers, managing schedules and drawings, and assisting in budget and quality control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or Project Engineer or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Proficient in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in documenting and logging change orders, submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation.
• Attend meetings and assist with project coordination activities to facilitate project success.
• Work with supervisors, trade contractors, and suppliers to assist the operations team.
• Manage schedules, project progress, shop drawings, and material releases to meet objectives.
• Assist in monitoring project performance, budgets, and quality standards.
• Review plans and shop drawings to identify change needs and pricing requirements.
